EXTRA EXTRA! READ ALL ABOUT IT
I read a blog post the other day that unveiled a notion that ad people have been speculating for the last few years. The premise was that due to tablets and e-readers, print; a medium that some believe has been on its last breath for quite some time, was dead.
As I read this post, I cried a little on the inside. I couldn’t believe that print had apparently died. (It has always been my...

#MeInAHeadline
Headlines. If I could write them all day long, I would. Taglines come as a close second, but in my opinion they don’t have the same thrill that comes with creating a headline. As a copywriter, headlines are my FAVOURITE thing to write: it is your FIRST piece of content on the page - and the FIRST (and sometimes only) thing someone will read. It will either make the reader want to read more,...

Copywriters don't just write.
I found this blog the other day from a copywriter in London, England named Caroline Gilmour (@lemondrizzle). In this blog post, she eloquently speaks about how copywriters are more than what they seem.
Thank you Caroline for writing this. I sincerely needed it.
I do genuinely believe copywriters have good strategic heads and are underused by clients who think that writing is just about the...

This is my new favourite video! The music choice, the breathtaking landscape, the cool cinematic styles - I love it all. Big thumbs up to these two photographers who I adore and admire. If I ever get married - guess who’s doing the photography?

Coincidentally I watched this MadMen episode a couple days after I posted my blog post “The Land of Lost Ideas”.
It might’ve been the best idea I ever had. I did everything. I talked to Achilles. I spent last night recreating every detail of the evening, hoping it would come back. You know how it is. There was nothing and then there was it, and now it’s nothing again.

The Land of Lost Ideas
@thedawe “That moment when just before u go to sleep u think of a great idea and say “I’ll remember that one in the morning” And u don’t. #notepad
This was a tweet I had noticed one day from my friend Stephen (Check out his blog here – it’s fantastic). It stuck with me and sparked this blog post because I myself have had that same moment, that same feeling countless...
